    Stefan's new human blood habit drive Elena into Damon's arms? "The Vampire Diaries" will never be the same after Stefan and Damon finally tell Elena how they became vampires in another highly-anticipated flashback episode. Damon and Alaric will continue their reluctant partnership as they try to get the jump on Jonathan Gilbert, who is headed for a messy fight with Pearl. A mysterious invention -- possibly dreamt up by the original Jonathan Gilbert in 1864 -- will bring Isobel back to Mystic Falls, but Elena's first meeting with her birth mother won't end well. Not everyone will survive the season finale on May 13.
